About ITC Labs

Innovation Through Chemistry corporation (ITC labs) was established in 2009 by Dr. Boyd Beck as a chemical consulting company specializing in testing and developing products for the carpet and hard floor cleaning industry. Dr. Beck also introduced a green certification program where products are evaluated for chemical toxicity, ecotoxicity, and other health and safety factors based on their chemical formulations. Products passing the certification requirements are considered “green certified” by ITC labs.

ITC labs is now owned and operated by Dr. Edward Durrant. Dr. Durrant holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry and spent 14 years working as a full-time chemist in the carpet and hard floor cleaning industry developing cleaning products and developing and refining analytical testing methods. Dr. Durrant has spent the last 6 years as a chemical consultant in the area of carpet and hard floor cleaning and holds 14 patents in this area.

In addition to product development, product testing, and a green certification program, ITC labs offer chemical consultation for developing analytical laboratory testing methods.
